For the past twenty-five years we have been producing a homegrown subscription season full of comedy, farce, drama, thriller, mystery and musical. Three local community theatre groups work together to produce the seven different plays equalling 49 performances, annual series: The Burl-Oak Theatre Group, The Oakville Players and West End Studio Theatre.

Producing the plays for the Drama Series involves all sorts of people working toward a common goal. Although the actors are the most visible participants, equally important are . . . the producer, director, set designer, lighting designer, sound technician, stage manager as well as the folks doing costumes, props, set construction and painting, and publicity. A host of jobs involve people at all levels in every production.
No experience is necessary. We will train you. If you have experience, so much the better. Hard work becomes a pleasure for all of us when it's directed towards the thrill of the curtain rising on opening night.
